250618 - (not so) short update

 Hi y'all!

so... long story short, i was about to apply for the Work Holiday Visa program to Australia but failed the war to get the SDUWHV.... and because i didn't want the money that i spent for the IELTS test to go to vain, i decided i'd use it to apply for GKS / Global Korea Scholarship.

I didn't know why it's been years that i've been wanting to pursue my studies in Korea but just now when i'm reaching 30 that i finally did something about it.

So i just took the TOPIK test in October last year. Thankfully passed level 2. and i applied for GKS this year. the application was in March this year and my friends who got the lpdp scholarship helped me a lot in writing my essays for the scholarship.

So after months of waiting i finally got the interview invitation from my soon to be campus, and NIIED has announce the 2nd round result for the candidates..........

i thought i saw my name, but it was censored........ so i'm still not sure if it's really my name there...........

let's just wait for the final announcement at the end of this month.

last year in January, i renewed my passport by myself (because i wanted to apply the WHV program)

and i moved my money from my reksadana account to my saving account (as the required document for the WHV program)

but after i failed to get the SDUWHV in March last year, i didn't know what to do with the money so i just planned a trip to Ho Chi Minh city to watch Baekhyun's first ever offline Asia tour.

and then i also attended the concert in Jakarta for 2 days.


and then, (OH I SUDDENLY REMEMBER. THE REASON WHY I KEPT MY MONEY IN MY SAVINGS ACCOUNT IS BECAUSE I THOUGHT I NEEDED IT TO APPLY FOR MULTIPLE ENTRANCES VISA TO KOREA)

suddenly lonsdaleite dot was announced, and i got the tickets for the 2 days concert in Korea via Baekhyun membership presale (YES I AM THAT OBSESSED WITH THAT MAN)

so.... i just applied for the multiple entrance visa. i submitted all the required documents including proof of my past visa to korea (my exchange student visa in 2015) and i was told by the officer that i didn't need to submit my bank statement for the multiple entrance visa. but i still submitted it because i didn't know what to do with the document anyway hahaha.

sooooo a week after that MY VISA GRANT NOTICE WAS OUT AND I COULDN'T BELIEVE THAT I FINALLY WENT TO KOREA AGAIN AFTER WHAT, 9 YEARS??? it was really like a dream.

i didn't plan my whole trip, i just bought the flight tickets, and then looked for the cheapest airbnb in Seoul, and when i got there, i just literally plan my itinerary every morning. or just impromptu. i went where my feet took me. HAHAHAHA. it was the best trip ever. and even though i attended the 2 days of concert alone, i still felt REAAALLLYYYY HAPPY cuz... DUH!? it's baekhyun. <3


well actually baekhyun is currently having his world tour, Reverie this year. and i also attended the kick off concert in Seoul 7th-8th June HAHAHA i luv him so much. i met so many of my twt mutuals, they're all so lovely. especially my old kyoong girlies gang <3 (love you nicole, fritsy, and ali +nini)

and before i went back to Jakarta, i made a quick 1 day stop at Kuala Lumpur to meet up with nini and lyssa<3


and anyway, if i happen to be accepted for the GKS program, i'll be a Korean language school student starting this September and i'll be living in Gwangju, the city where i lived for a whole semester in 2015. it'll be so nice to be back there <3

 Hi! So, yeah. i know i forgot to post here for 5 days but whatever Yesterday, i just got back from climbing mount Gede in West Java. My whole body is a shipwreck. 211231 - the last day of the year

 hi. to start this post, i wanna say, well, i am definitely a person who can't keep up with my own commitment (to post daily on this blog). well... it's not actually a commitment, i just wanted to record my daily life with this daily log thingy. but apparently i couldn't. the reason was; either i was too busy, or just bored. but whatever. at least today i'm here, writing an update on this blog. today is Friday, December 31st, year 2021. the last day of 2021. and it's Friday. i mean, people can just easily skip school or work to go to holiday but because of new variant of corona virus, that is Omicron, the condition nowadays is weird. it almost feels like we're back to normal, but not really. people are swarming everywhere, acting as if the pandemic is over. the only difference is people are wearing mask everywhere, oh and there are still regulations to prevent covid-19 transmission such as social distancing, and earlier closing hour for (some) public places. so ...

220526 - another crisis.

 Yep. another crisis. there is NOT a single day in my life that i've had gone through without any crisis. so long story short, i've accepted a new job offer which focuses mainly on my expertise (or i think so), BIM, in a Japanese contractor. But the main problem is, I already proposed my resignation to my (ex-)boss about a week ago, and he told me his concerns about it. he told me 1. i was their(my ex office) hope in developing the use of BIM in the office 2. thus, if i were to resign from the office, i should talk about it first with my higher boss (so this higher boss is my boss' boss in the hierarchy) and i tried to meet with hb (higher boss) since then but came to no avail, the day after that day, he didn't show up at work, and the next week, which was Monday, 3 days ago, I had to attend a meeting agenda,  FULL DAY one. and when i said FULL DAY, literally means from 9am - 10pm. so that means not being able to go to office to search for my hb. the next day, a.k.a 2 d...
