220129 - Free weekend

 hola all!

wanna do a quick update on what have been happening in my life lately

1. I and my family just went on vacation to my grandma's house, in Pekanbaru, for about a week, and i told about this plan only a day before we go. We went at night by car, with one of my cousin, and also my two cats joining us. imagine the ruckus we experienced along the journey.......

when i went there, many things happened, one of my uncles happened to be building a new house for his new family, a gigantic house to be more specific, right beside his old house. and the usual, i still have to do work (office tasks and also freelance jobs) because i'm actually not on an official leave (because i haven't been working on my office for over a year, only the employees who have been working for over a year have that) but my boss was kind enough to give me permission to go even though the deadline of some projects was near and he seemed to hesitate a bit before he said yes.

and then, when i visited my uncle's unfinished new house, i met my other uncle (this uncle is my mom's youngest brother) who's in charge of building the house. i took the opportunity to ask some questions related to house construction and also budgeting for it. after listening to my concerns and my goal to buy house for my family, my uncle told me that the price of empty land there was waaay much more cheaper than in Jakarta. because of this, i started to have plans to buy land there and later build a dream house for my family there.

after i got back to Jakarta my uncle informed me that there's an empty lot that might be suitable for me to buy. for now,, i don't think i can buy it by cash, but i'm still negotiating though.

but if we're not meant to be, it's okay, i can think of it as a chance to save more money to buy more suitable land in the near future..........

2. few days before i got back to Jakarta, Mr. Muslih texted me and told me that one of the training participants wanted to get to know me to do taaruf (???????) and he asked me if i could meet this guy that night. it was so sudden so i declined, i was still out of town anyway. I told him i was in Pekanbaru, in my grandma's house.

but what's funny is, this man was actually a worker in a town near Pekanbaru. and he was gonna go back there the day after. so Mr. Muslih planned a scenario. he got me 2 box of cookies and told this man to go meet me in Pekanbaru right after he landed.

so, that was what happened. and at the time we met, i was actually with my family (we were on our way back to my grandma's house from my uncle's house) so i told my family to wait for me at the other side of the cafe and pretended like we're strangers so that I and this man wouldn't feel awkward T_T

and until now, my mom is the one who's excited about it with hope that i will get married soon......

3. i went back to Jakarta by plane, and that day was very annoying. at the morning i had to finish my work that's so sudden, and after that i quickly went to market to buy gifts for my coworkers and my father's family. right after that, i had to go to airport much earlier than my flight schedule, all because i had an online meeting schedule an hour before my flight.

so i did just that. but the meeting duration wasn't as planned, at 2 pm, it was already time for me to board on the plane, so i excused myself from the meeting. and because i was panicking, i packed my laptop too carelessly and i dropped my laptop from the waiting room seat to the floor. you've got to be kidding me....................................

andddd i was right. when i got home, at 9 pm i tried to turn on my laptop, and it won't work normally.

the worst thing was, i had to attend an online meeting at 6am the next morning, and teach (using my laptop) at Mr. Muslih's for 2 days.

so i let my laptop in that state and left it to sleep. at around 3 am, i woke up, feeling uneasy about everything that's about to happen, and finally texted Mr. Muslih and my boss about my laptop's conditions. Thankfully they understood. so i attended the online meeting with my phone, and i taught the course with Mr. Muslih's laptop.

that day of the course, i was busy teaching and Mr Muslih actually took the time to check my laptop and brought it to service center T_T and he even paid in advance for the service fee T_T what do i do without him........ i wouldn't be able to take my laptop to service center until i finished my training huhuhuhu........ so thankful for him.

4. Today, is probably the first weekend that i get to spend at home without my sister. so after we went to Pekanbaru, my sister decided to stay there for a while, but not sure until when, to search for a job.

and my parents just got back from Pekanbaru last night (i went back alone few days before them)

as usual, my dad went to work at the morning, and it was only me and my mom at home.

i decided today would be the day that i FINALLY cut my hair after weeks of contemplating to do it (plus i couldn't find a proper and budget-friendly salons at Pekanbaru. My cousins were fed up with me saying that i want to cut my hair.)

and i went to the market with my mom, eating breakfast at our old fave, gado-gado, and i got my hair cut right after.

so i finally got my Soohyun haircut guys. I literally showed the hairdresser this pic of Soohyun from The Devil Judge and told her i wanna look like THIS.

so......... probably that's all of my TMI for today's post.

i know it's too much for a so called "daily log" lmao.

i shall change this blog's tagline to Today's TMI, just like Treasure's youtube videos.
